What Jev is good for
Jev is a new kind of model from Typesafe. Instead of writing free text, it picks from answers you define in advance and says how confident it is. That makes it a good fit for the many small decisions inside software, where a general chat model is slow and its output has to be checked.

Typesafe offers Jev in early access. We confirm access and terms for your use case before we plan the work.
Can Jev replace our current AI model?
For decisions with a fixed set of answers, often yes. For writing and open-ended answers, no: we keep a general model there and use Jev to route and check.
What if Jev isn't sure?
Every answer comes with a confidence. We set a threshold with you, and anything below it goes to a person or a slower model.
